Returns & Refund Policy
This policy explains how Games Checkout handles return requests, refunds, damaged shipments, cancellations, and order issues for video games, consoles, accessories, vinyl records, and other inventory sold through the website.
1. Nature of Inventory
Many items sold by Games Checkout are used, collectible, vintage, one-of-a-kind, or condition-sensitive. Because of that, normal signs of age, cosmetic wear, minor packaging wear, and similar condition differences may exist unless otherwise stated in the listing.
Customers are encouraged to review item descriptions carefully and contact us before ordering if they need more detail about condition, completeness, compatibility, region, or included contents.
2. 60-Day Return Policy
Games Checkout accepts returns on eligible orders within 60 days of the delivery date. To receive a refund, the order must be returned to Games Checkout within that 60-day period.
Returned items should be sent back in the same condition they were received, including any included parts, cases, manuals, inserts, sleeves, cables, or accessories. Please contact Games Checkout before sending back an item so return instructions can be provided.
3. If There Is a Problem With Your Order
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or materially different from what was described, please contact Games Checkout as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of delivery.
Please include your name, order details, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item, packaging, and any visible damage so the situation can be reviewed properly and resolved quickly.
4. Return Instructions and Item Condition
Once you contact Games Checkout about a return, return instructions will be provided. To help avoid delays, please do not send items back without including enough information to identify the order.
If a returned item is missing parts, has been altered, has been further damaged after delivery, or does not match the item originally shipped, the refund may be reduced to reflect the condition of the returned item.
5. Refunds
Once the returned order is received and inspected, Games Checkout will issue a refund for the returned item or order to the original payment method used at checkout.
If only part of an order is returned, the refund will apply only to the returned item or items. Refund timing may vary depending on the payment method used and the processing time of the payment provider.
6. Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are refundable when a return is related to an item that was sent incorrectly, arrived damaged, or was materially different from its listing description.
For standard returns where the item is being returned for personal preference, compatibility, or another customer-side reason, original shipping charges may not be refunded, and return shipping costs may remain the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated by Games Checkout.
7. Change-of-Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within the 60-day return window, provided the item is returned in the same condition it was received and includes all parts and included contents.
8. Compatibility, Region, and Buyer Responsibility
Buyers are responsible for confirming that a game, console, accessory, format, or region is compatible with their equipment before ordering.
If an item matches the listing but does not work with the buyer’s setup, it may still be returned under the normal 60-day return policy if it is returned in the same condition as received. In those cases, shipping charges may not be refundable.
9. Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact Games Checkout immediately. Cancellation requests can only be considered before the order has been packed, processed, shipped, or otherwise committed for fulfillment.
Once an order has shipped or gone out for delivery, cancellation may no longer be possible, but the order may still be eligible for return under this policy once received.
10. Delivery Issues and Carrier Delays
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary. Most orders arrive within 1 to 3 weeks, but carrier delays, weather issues, routing problems, peak shipping periods, and international customs processing can affect timing.
If a shipment appears lost, delayed for an unusual amount of time, or delivered with visible damage, please contact Games Checkout so the issue can be reviewed with the carrier where appropriate.
11. Selling Collections to Games Checkout
This Returns & Refund Policy applies to customer purchases from Games Checkout. It does not create a return right for items sold by the public to Games Checkout.
Once a collection sale has been reviewed, accepted, and completed, that seller transaction is generally considered final, unless otherwise required by law or separately agreed in writing.
